Frank Sinatra is The Voice of American Popular Music. With a career that spanned nearly sixty years, his talents helped shape American culture and tastes for generations of listeners.  With impeccable musical phrasing grounded in jazz, he helped to introduce and popularize countless songs that have since become classics.

Getting his feet wet in the musically volatile swing bands of the late 1930s, he progressed effortlessly from peak to peak, working with great musicians like Tommy Dorsey, Axel Stordahl, and Nelson Riddle, culminating in a series of landmark albums for Capitol Records in the 1950s. He reinvented himself again in the 1960s as a swaggering lead player in the Rat Pack, starting his own, independent record label, and redefining "cool" in the baby steps of Rock 'n' Roll culture.

Not content to restrict himself to music alone, Frank excelled in every medium - radio, television, and an in-demand film actor, Frank gained both popular and critical plaudits in every field of entertainment.

Sinatra's music has appeared in nearly every physical and digital format created, from early glass masters to digital downloads.  His continued popularity and influence ensure that his music and films will live on.  This site, begun as a fan labor-of-love, has grown over the years to become one of the largest, most comprehensive databases of Frank Sinatra on the web.
